UCD CSC Scholarship Scheme 2009.
This is the third year this scheme has been run. UCD and the China Scholarship Council (CSC) affiliated with the Ministry of Education of China have established a unique scholarship scheme to assist Chinese students to pursue graduate research in UCD leading to a PhD. The scheme facilitates Chinese students to benefit from 4 years funded full-time graduate research in one of Europe’s leading research-intensive universities. The scheme aims to attract some of the very best students from China to UCD and to promote UCD within China as an attractive destination for graduate research studies. The successful students under this UCD-CSC scheme will have their tuition fees paid by UCD and the CSC will cover the student’s living expenses and airfares. UCINET and SIENA courses

A one-week workshop on Analysis of Social Networks using Ucinet and Siena, taught by Martin Everett and Tom Snijders, will be held in Oxford, December 15-19, 2008.
